We are thrilled to announce the festival’s first artist-in-residence, Brendon Darby.
The renowned West Australian painter and musician will work on a large painting inspired by the Fairbridge landscape and festival activities. Concurrently, he will write and record a piece of music that interprets the same subject, which will be presented set to a video of the process in the Sunday evening finale in Mandja.
Throughout the duration of the festival drop by the verandah of Nightingale cottage to see Brendon at work.
Give him some encouragement, inspiration or simply be enthralled!
