Car Pooling
So you’re packing up the car and heading to your favourite festival…road trips are more fun with friends – old or new! If you can, make sure you’re sharing the ride to minimise the environmental impact. It’ll also reduce those long entry queues on the way in. If you have spare seats or want to catch a lift, get onto our Facebook event page and put a call out to see who needs a lift or to ask who has a spare seat in their car. Please talk to your friends about car pooling so we have fewer emissions on the way and less vehicles parked on site. There are other benefits as well; you get to share the petrol costs and will make some new friends.
Ride Sharing
Share a ride to Fairbridge Festival with fellow festival goers!
Head to Coseats.com to share a ride to the event. Or, if you are driving and have spare seats in your car why not post a ride and fill those empty seats with some company for the road. You can meet some cool new people, save money and even save the environment!
Public Transport
There are public transport options for travelling to Mandurah and Pinjarra. However, there are no buses from Mandurah to Pinjarra on the weekend so you will need someone to meet you at Mandurah station or use a taxi. Please check TransPerth journey planner prior to leaving, as timetables may change.
TransWA operate the Australind train service twice daily from Perth City Railway Station, East Perth, stopping at Armadale, Byford, Mundijong, Serpentine, North Dandalup and Pinjarra. Advanced bookings must be made to board and embark at any of these stations. Again, you will need someone to meet you in Pinjarra as there are no taxis between Pinjarra and the festival site.
