What is Fairbridge Festival?

(that's a huge question!)

Fairbridge Festival is one of Australia’s most loved, family-friendly music and camping festivals. Held since 1992, it is a place of wonder and magic, with inspiration and delight for all ages at every turn. The next Fairbridge Festival is happening from 14-16 April 2023 – in the middle weekend of the April school holidays. Stay tuned for updates coming soon!

A PLACE OF WONDER AND MAGIC

We have a massive lineup of artists and performers, from all corners of the globe to right here in our own back yard. Nestled in the beautiful surrounds of Fairbridge Village, the festival site is divided up into a few precincts, to cater for everyone from 1 year olds up to 100 year olds! Over the three days, there is an abundance of music, dance, free workshops, crafts, market stalls, delicious food, street theatre, comedy, in-conversation, jam sessions and so much more! Check out our Access and Inclusion Guide, which shows you all the things we do to ensure that everyone is welcome and able to attend.

MANDJA

The beating heart of our festival, Mandja (Noongar for meeting place) is our main concert venue and home to spectacular live music shows. Head here for the large-scale festival moments, combined concerts and spectacular evening shows. Pop over to Gus’ Bar between shows for a refreshment and a singalong!

THE CHAPEL

Located at the top of Market Street and adjacent to the food stalls area, Chapel is a hallowed place of musical worship. This beautiful acoustic venue is ideal for vocal and intimate music concerts. The adjoining lawns are set up for fun activities for all ages and provide a great place to relax.

KALEIDOSCOPE

Provides all day entertainment for the younger ones (Mums and Dads too!).
Find us under the trees near the East entrance to Fields Camping.

PAPER, SCISSORS, ROCK

Located under the trees opposite Kaleidoscope, this space offers hands on art and creative workshops for children of all ages. You will find Face Painting nearby too!

GUS'S BAR

Centrally located opposite Mandja and the catering area, Gus’s Bar is a Fairbridge Festival institution and absolute festival favourite. This is where you meet up with friends old and new and rub shoulders with artists! Rest your feet and sample the wide selection of beers (including our favourite Guinness). Eftpos available.

RUBY'S

A true Fairbridge Festival favourite, Ruby’s is a licensed, seated venue nestle in the gardens behind Fairbridge House. Grab a drink and some food and enjoy a diverse mix of music, with an emphasis on relaxed, fun programming.

CENTRE KOORT

Located on the centre tennis court, near the old Hoopla district, our freshest venue, Centre Koort is a comfortable, relaxed, open space for young and old alike. Pull up a couch, buy some food and drinks from the Centre Koort Bar and watch a diverse, exciting lineup of music under the gum trees.
