Jacob Wylde has been compared to Stevie Wonder by no one. His music is a lot less groovy, he was not a child prodigy, he cannot play every instrument flawlessly, and he has pretty good vision. In spite of this, some people still like his music. One person who is not a music critique once wrote “Hey man, I really like your new EP (‘The Moon Is a Memory’), it is sad, but it also makes me feel hopeful. It is sometimes catchy and a bit poppy, but it’s also raw, honest and real. My favourite song is the one that goes for 10 minutes and has all the rain noises in it. Also, are you playing frisbee this week?”.
