Jack Davies
Renowned west Australian folksinger and rambler Jack Davies blends his warbled guitar with intimate thought provoking lyrics.

Well known for his slick finger picking and rambling poetry, West Australian songwriter Jack Davies began his days as a busker. After joining forces with his folk rock outfit “The Bush Chooks”, the group built a steady national following, selling out shows across the country with their electrified and dynamic takes on Jack’s introspective folk songwriting. After releasing a debut solo album in 2024, “Orange Moon Glow”, Jack has been travelling the continent full time, performing intimate acoustic shows to a dedicated national audience.
In 2026, Jack released a trio record with dear friends Anna Schneider and Claud Tero, both acclaimed songwriters in their own right. Their new album, “A Gust Of Wind Knocks Off My Hat”, is a celebration of the uncomfortable, awkward joy of being alive. Stripped back live takes, chairs creaking, layering old time guitar and shimmering harmonies. Be it solo, trio, or in various other arrangements, Jack is lauded for his emotive, witty lyricism, humorous stories, and somewhat clumsy stage presence.
