De Cuba Son is one of Perth’s most electrifying Afro-Cuban bands, with the rich traditions of Cuban Son, Salsa, and Latin jazz. Co-led by Cuban-born musicians Arvis Mena (bass, vocals) and Jeremias Sosa (guitar, vocals), the group blends deep rhythmic roots with virtuosic improvisation and contemporary flair.
