Award-winning violinist Emily Gelineau brings a vibrant mix of jazz styles to the stage at Fairbridge Festival. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she studied on a full scholarship, Emily spent four years in the United States developing her sound and performing internationally.

Known for her expressive playing and genre-blending approach, Emily’s music draws on swing, gypsy jazz, Brazilian styles and other global jazz traditions. Her performances combine lyrical melodies, rich improvisation and infectious rhythm, celebrating the spirit and spontaneity of jazz. Now based in Perth, Emily is a sought-after performer across Australia and abroad. She has recorded with the GRAMMY-winning 8-Bit Big Band and regularly works as a composer and arranger for orchestras and productions, including the Perth Symphony Orchestra. Whether on festival stages, concert halls or international cruise stages, Emily’s performances are energetic, engaging and full of musical storytelling.
