The Lost Quays

The lost quays are a group of somewhat but not exclusively hairy men who sing sea shanties and songs of the sea with a strong emphasis on solid harmonies. They do a combination of traditional, contemporary, and original music and have performed at festivals and events throughout Western Australia and beyond.

The Lost Quays

The Lost Quays are a group of somewhat but not exclusively hairy men who sing sea shanties and songs of the sea with a strong emphasis on solid harmonies. Many of us come from a background in folk and accapella music and whilst we have added a variety of instruments to augment our sound it’s all about delivering the song the best way we can. Our love of singing a mix of traditional as well as contemporary and original songs has given us the opportunity to perform in places as far away as Holland ,Germany, England as well as Tasmania, South Australia, Canberra and far flung venues across our native Western Australia We have always considered Fairbridge Festivals as one of our favourite places to perform and are absolutely thrilled to get the chance to share our music with old friends.
